It’s been a while since we’ve sent you a formal newsletter. Apologies for the radio silence. However, that’s not an indication of a lack of activity, quite the opposite in fact!
We intend to send you periodic updates on exciting news from the world of Craigberoch, but will be careful not to bombard your inboxes too much. Remember, you can always unsubscribe if you don’t wish to receive these updates.
Hosting Kings in October
No, not King Charles this time! King’s College Business School, London have just launched a new executive MBA aimed at developing a new generation of leaders who are able to cope with the increasingly complex and uncertain modern business environment and think creatively about how business can play a positive role in the world.
It’s a mixture of online lectures and physical meet-ups over two years and we’re delighted that they chose Craigberoch and the Isle of Bute as the first stop for their residential program. We were joined by a journalist from the amazing new magazine The Beautiful Truth who is writing a feature for a forthcoming issue. Their goal is to “celebrate the individuals and businesses who are embracing life with purpose to create a kinder, more equitable, and greener world.” Sounds right up our street and maybe yours too? If so, watch this space for more details.
Open Decelerator Programmes
A guarantee of warm sunshine and lovely weather is not one of the key selling points for a business whose primary home is an island on the west coast of Scotland. However, our September Decelerator Cohort was blessed with blue skies and temperatures in the mid 20s, which made for some stunning settings for our outdoor Decelerator activities. Feedback from participants was terrific.
In terms of upcoming events, our next open Decelerator will run from the 6th – 10th of November and we have a great group of people already confirmed. There are still a couple of very last-minute places available if you’re interested, but we would obviously need to know as soon as possible.
In 2024, we will be running two open Decelerator programmes on April 18th – 21st and September 9th – 15th. We will also be piloting several innovative new “co-being” weeks during 2024. This is remote co-working with a difference and allows you to keep the day job going while creating a self-directed experience, choosing from a menu of activities conducive to well-being, creativity, and inspiration.
Please get in touch to register interest for any of these programmes.
Revamping our Website
Our current website has served as well over many years. However, it has been undergoing a full scale revamp in the last few months. We’re expecting to go live in the near future with new images, offerings and booking functionality. You’ll be the first to know when we’re live and would love to have your feedback.
We’re delighted to announce a new member of the Craigberoch Core Team in recent months.
- Hollie Smith is our newest joiner taking on a new role as an Administrator across the organisation. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the corporate world and has got off to a great start.
Besides these local Bute events, we are continuing to work extensively “on site” with clients doing tailored events that are often in conjunction with online sessions.
We’re also regularly running workshops at various conferences such as the Future of Work and Learning Summit in Geneva in June and last week we hosted a debate and workshop at the Resource Alliance’s Annual Conference in the Netherlands.
If you’re interested in having a discussion about your own organisation’s needs then don’t hesitate to get in touch.
